About the role

This is a 50% Kindergarten Teacher position for a long-term substitute role at Bradford Woods Elementary School, effective August 13, 2026. The teacher will establish an elementary program and a class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth by providing rich and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective rapport with students and motivate them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a strong foundation for learning, in accordance with each student's ability.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with parents and other staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification.
• Current clearances, including:
  • Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • PA Criminal Record Check.
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training.
• Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment physical and TB test.
