Opportunity Education is facing a critical issue where many talented young people, especially those from underserved and minority backgrounds, are still locked out of clear, affordable pathways into tech careers and entrepreneurship.
About the Role
Outcome School is a free tech school offering structured, level-based programs in software engineering, AI, product, robotics, game development, and cybersecurity. The pathways are designed to help young underserved and minorities build skills step by step through prerequisite-based training, with each level running for 12 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Student check-in and registration
- SUPPORTING INSTRUCTORS DURING WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
- AIDING STUDENTS AS THEY BUILD THEIR FIRST GAMES
- SET UP AND ORGANIZE LEARNING MATERIALS
- HELPING CREATE A SAFE, WELCOMING, AND EXCITING EXPERIENCE
Requirements
No game-development experience is required. We are looking for dependable, positive, and patient individuals who enjoy working with young people and supporting education.
Qualifications
Volunteers must be available on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Watts location.
