About the role

The Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Elementary School is seeking a committed educator to join our team. Located within the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC), we offer a diverse and inclusive environment where students can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning.
• Create lesson plans and instructional materials for elementary school students, aligned to the Common Core State Standards, and modify instructional methods to fit individual students' needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and provide individual and small group instruction as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Elementary, 1–6 (305 or 005)
• Elementary, K–6 (013)
