Key Responsibilities
- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
- Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
- Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning and interventions.
- Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Classroom Culture & Student Support
- Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment.
- Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies.
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
Collaboration & Professional Growth
- Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Contribute to school-wide systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Family Engagement
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
- Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area).
- A Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
- A minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience.
