4C Stepdown Unit - Registered Nurse (RN) - Full time - All Shifts available

About the role

This is a Full time flex (36 hours per week) position at Christiana Hospital on the 4C Medical Stepdown Unit. Weekend and Holidays - per the guidelines of the department.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a relationship-based model, building relationships with patients and families as well as your peers, guided by ChristianaCare's values of love and excellence.
• Assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment, working side-by-side with the interdisciplinary team including Patient Care Technicians, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and other medical professionals.
• Participate in an individualized orientation to support independence in nursing practice.
• Support the mission of ChristianaCare by partnering with patients and their families to provide effective, affordable, and valuable healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. ADNs are considered with relevant experience and a commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• At least one year of experience in acute care or subacute care settings.
• BLS certification required.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a collaborative approach to patient care, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a compassionate and caring attitude.

Skills

Board certification in Medical-Surgical, Geriatric, or Progressive Care Nursing is encouraged but not required.

Pay

The hourly pay range is $41.28 - $66.05. The actual salary offered will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.
