About the role

As part of the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, an Inbound Expert ensures product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The role supports inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas, leads Food & Beverage and Food Service for a fresh, food‑safe experience, and owns pick, pack and ship fulfillment work. The position helps build guest‑service fundamentals, retail business knowledge, and process‑efficiency skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within 10 ft (friendly smile, eye contact, or wave) and within 4 ft (warm, helpful interaction)
• Help guests find what they need or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy, inspiring guest experience
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation
• Stock, organize and store reserve product; straighten merchandise on the sales floor
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories
• If certified, operate powered equipment as needed while unloading freight or moving merchandise
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
