Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests within 10ft (smile, eye contact, or wave) and within 4ft (greet, smile, initiate warm interaction)
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for General Merchandise categories
• If certified, operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner at all times and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU); maintain compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws when executing those duties
• All other duties based on business needs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the duration of a shift without additional assistance; involves repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and rotating motions
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.25 USD per hour
