About the role
The Army National Guard’s Human Resources Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for Soldiers seeking guidance on benefits, policies, and sensitive issues. This role involves supporting Guard career development and providing personnel support across various divisions.
Responsibilities
- Organizing, maintaining, and reviewing personnel records
- Data entry and retrieval
- Processing recommendations
- Arranging awards ceremonies
- Preparing, updating, and coordinating requests for evaluations
- Preparing and monitoring Soldier requests for ID cards and tags, leaves of absence, and passes
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Maintaining filing systems
Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- At least a junior in high school or a high school diploma/GED certificate
- Between the ages of 17 and 35
- Able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
