About the role
Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer: Develop and integrate optical systems with mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Lead projects from concept through design, prototyping, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including optics engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
Senior Structural and Thermal Engineer - Optical Systems: Design and analyze optical systems under various environmental conditions to ensure structural integrity and thermal management. Work closely with mechanical engineers and optical designers to optimize system performance and manufacturability.
Lead Optical Systems Engineer: Oversee the development and implementation of complex optical systems. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate optical systems with mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in optomechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Strong understanding of optical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD software and finite element analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with advanced optical systems and technologies.
- Leadership experience in a technical or managerial role.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Remote work may be considered based on qualifications and company needs.
