About the role

This position designs and delivers learning experiences for students in a grade level and/or content area, utilizing evidence-based instructional practices and technology.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and facilitates the learning process
• Participates in a community of learning to develop and refine knowledge and skills
• Evaluates student progress and communicates progress
• Collaborates, reflects, and grows to improve learning opportunities
• Works Mondays and Tuesdays

Requirements

• Licensed professional
• Knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and literacy/mathematics
• Experience with a variety of instructional practices and technology
• Ability to establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Proficiency in using technology to engage students in authentic learning experiences
• Ability to assess and differentiate for all students' needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education and Academy District 20 requirements
• Colorado Department of Education Teacher License: Initial or Professional
