3rd Shift - Warehouse Merchandise Handler

Responsibilities

• Picks merchandise from a warehouse racking system and places items in appropriate staging areas.
• Physically load/unloads furniture pieces onto and off order pickers.
• Safely navigate machinery through a warehouse.
• Maintains established departmental goals.
• Performs rack and sprinkler inspections.

Requirements

• Safe work habits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you are on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and shimmy furniture weighing up to 110 pounds.
• Reliability.
• Meets daily department goals.
• Ability to work at heights of 35 to 50 feet.
• Passes pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• No equipment experience required. Jordan’s provides valuable on-the-job training.
• The schedule for this position is Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am and may require working outside and above regular hours at times.
