3rd Shift Warehouse Associate 8PM Start Time

The Warehouse Associate role is essential to the daily operations of the Famous Supply Distribution Center. Famous Supply is a family‑owned wholesale distributor serving contractors, builders, and remodelers in HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF segments since 1933, guided by core values of Family, Trust, Communication, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety protocols
• Operate various powered equipment to move material (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, turret trucks, order pickers, etc.)
• Unload trucks
• Receive material
• Put‑away of material
• Pick, pack, and stage orders
• Load trucks
• Proper handling of inventory for accuracy and damage prevention
• Perform inventory counts
• General warehouse cleaning
• Handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to stand on feet for the majority of an 8‑hour day
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Team mentality
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge (preferred)
• Prior warehouse experience (preferred)
• Experience using RF scanners (preferred)
• Loading and unloading trailers (preferred)
• Receiving and inventory counting (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $20 per hour plus shift differential. Starting hourly rate is based on years of relatable experience.

Schedule

Shift: 8 PM start time.
