3rd Shift Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Work with the Supervisor to identify processes that require improvement in material flow, line support, and 5S.
• Conduct shift reviews with the leadership team, including visual management and inventory logistics deviations.
• Coordinate training, work schedules, and assignments; conduct shift transition meetings.
• Investigate and determine the cause of defective work and advise on corrective measures.
• Develop and implement process initiatives.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Responsible for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Automotive experience a plus.
• 1+ years of experience leading or directing hourly personnel.
• Ability to train others on section processes and procedures.
• Lean manufacturing experience desirable.
• Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
• Experience using a warehouse management system.
• Self‑starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High level of motivation and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem‑solving ability and strong strategic thinking.
• Good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced, flexing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift experience preferred or ability to pass CLI’s forklift training certification process.
