3rd Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily tasks of each operator, service and technician within the department in accordance with scheduled production goals.
• Ensure standard work practices to ensure the highest level of safety, quality and efficiencies are achieved.
• Work closely with all employees to ensure understanding and ongoing training.
• Responsible for new employees and monitoring and reinforcing training program and OJT progress.
• Communicate daily with your assigned team regarding safety, production goals, quality issues and overall plant objectives.
• Facilitate positive employee relations to support good two-way communications, employee engagement, recognition and an overall positive environment.
• Work as part of the Burlington management team to solve problems and offer solutions to meet plant objectives.
• Maintain a presence on the manufacturing floor and ensure daily interactions with employees.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Experience in supervising and managing a team of operators, technicians, and service personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teamwork and problem-solving.
• Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Understanding of plant policies and procedures, and the ability to enforce them consistently.
