3rd Shift Sanitation Associate

About the role

This position is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of pre-operational procedures by establishing and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout all Truvant's facilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production rooms, pack-off areas, and packaging equipment
• Cleaning and sanitizing of any other areas assigned by the sanitation supervisor
• Disassembling and assembling of equipment and production lines
• Operating a floor buffer and scrubber
• Filling out required sanitation pre-operational reports
• Completing all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products
• Understanding palletization of each product
• Identifying defects in packages/pouches
• Operating a pallet jack
• Other duties as assigned

• On the job training provided

• Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job
• Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
• Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
• Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense

• Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
• Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to Climb, Stoop/Kneel, Lift, Pull and Push
• Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
• Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products
• Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 pounds
