3rd Shift Receiver

About the role

Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 8pm – 4am
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour, based on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Unloading/supervising the unloading of trucks and verifying product counts match invoices.
• Become an expert in handling fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Follow company protocols and procedures for checking and documenting quality and condition on each shipment.
• Mark count discrepancies and quality or condition problems on all bills of lading or invoices.
• Order fulfillment (properly loading outbound customer orders on trucks and processing paperwork).

Requirements

• Eye for detail – separating merchandise according to shipper, item, size, color, lot, etc., reporting product quality and condition issues to sales or buyers.
• Inventory management skills – adjusting quantities and receiving lots in the computer, following company procedures for proper product put away.
• Reliable & responsible – showing up for your teammates.
• Ability to work independently – taking initiative, solving problems, and taking ownership.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic math skills.
• Proficiency with using computers (Windows, Excel, Word).

• Physical strength and stamina to handle pallets and move around the warehouse.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and inspecting products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows, Excel, and Word.
