3rd Shift Quality Technician (Entry-Level Manufacturing)
We formulate, manufacture, and market custom concentrate and liquid color solutions for the plastic industry. Our products are part of daily life, from the shampoo bottle you used this morning to the cutting board you made dinner with.
About the role
We're hiring an entry-level QC Technician for our 3rd shift team in Mukwonago, WI. This is a full-time position ideal for those looking for a career change, returning to the workforce, or seeking a shift schedule that fits their lifestyle. We are willing to train motivated candidates from any industry. In this role, you'll help ensure our products meet customer and quality standards while learning valuable manufacturing and quality control skills.
Schedule
- 3rd Shift: Sunday night through Friday morning, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM
- Additional $2.50/hour shift premium
- Overtime available as needed
Responsibilities
- Follow production specifications and batch instructions to meet customer requirements
- Weigh materials and prepare color samples using molding, milling, and press equipment
- Evaluate color and product quality using visual inspection and testing equipment
- Use spectrophotometer software and other tools to analyze and correct color variations
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Perform quality tests such as FTIR analysis, melt flow testing, ash testing, and moisture analysis
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Work overtime or weekends as needed to support production requirements
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to distinguish color differences
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the organization
Manufacturing experience is not required. We will train the right candidate.
