About the role
Inspect incoming potatoes and prepare them for the chip making process. Cleaning with chemicals and power-washers required for PM shifts.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, plus weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming potatoes.
- Sort and handle incoming potatoes after peeling process.
- Keep work area neat.
- Clean equipment after shutdown for all shifts.
- Safely operate a forklift to perform essential duties.
- Assist unloading potato trucks, including climbing inside and outside of potato truck, taking samples, placing and removing potato sack bags from the bottom of the truck.
- Maneuver heavy dumpsters on wheels by pushing ten-plus yards for placement by forklift.
