Responsibilities
- Independently monitors, operates, and adjusts various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to procedures.
- Accurately completes all necessary production packaging paperwork.
- Comparing documents to ensure that customer receives accurate inventory of items.
- Responsible for placing rolls in boxes as well as other items such as spacers, inserts, and etc. without jeopardizing the machine production.
- Picking up rolls from press as needed to keep the machine production going.
- Troubleshoots minor equipment problems and resolves them with minimal loss of production.
- Works well with others in a team environment.
- Records of time and production for job costing.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
- Observes company work rules and safety regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Physical demands include standing long periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands.
- Reasoning ability.
- Must have ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must have ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
