3rd Shift Packager

Responsibilities

• Independently monitors, operates, and adjusts various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to procedures.
• Accurately completes all necessary production packaging paperwork.
• Comparing documents to ensure that customer receives accurate inventory of items.
• Responsible for placing rolls in boxes as well as other items such as spacers, inserts, and etc. without jeopardizing the machine production.
• Picking up rolls from press as needed to keep the machine production going.
• Troubleshoots minor equipment problems and resolves them with minimal loss of production.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Records of time and production for job costing.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
• Observes company work rules and safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Physical demands include standing long periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands.
• Reasoning ability.
• Must have ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must have ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
