Duties And Responsibilities Of The Job
- Receive load packet with pick tickets from load coordinator
- Hand out pick tickets to pickers
- Use Shop Floor system to locate product
- Use forklift/high-lift to pick the product (use proper age dates when picking order)
- Scan the picked product to the order
- Wrap each pallet using an automated wrap machine
- Fill out proper paperwork (Talley sheet, seal tag, pallet report)
- Load assigned trailer in order of shipment stops and to meet weight requirements
- Work in a safe manner
- Follow Food Safety Guidelines
- Follow Housekeeping Procedures
Qualifications
- Able to operate high lift/forklift in a safe manner
- Able to demonstrate safe work practices
- Pass certification to operate a high lift/forklift
- Able to safely lift 100 lbs. consistently throughout shift
- Able to work in an environment of 28 degrees
- Able to operate a scan gun
- Able to operate Shop Floor system
- Able to operate automatic wrapping machines
