3rd Shift Machine Operator - Big Bite Baits

Job Purpose

Machine operators are responsible for operating assigned machinery, including pulling, inspecting and hanging plastic fishing lures as the bait generated and expelled from the machine molds while ensuring proper care and safety guidelines are meticulously followed.

3rd Shift

11:00PM Central - 7:00AM Central

On Site

Georgetown, GA

Summary of Essential Job Duties

• Recognize visible flaws or defects in lures (ex. color, shape and size).
• Monitor each assigned machine during the entire 8-hour work shift.
• Use oil safely and cautiously on machine molds to prevent product damage.
• Assist with other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clear walking space around the machine.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous machine operation experience is preferred.

Physical Demands & Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, handling, picking/pinning, or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.
• Frequent use of near and far vision, depth perception, visual accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
• Frequent exposure to consistent noise, moving mechanical parts, and non-climate-controlled facility conditions.
