Summary
This position requires knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes, flexibility in job assignments, and the ability to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and handle substantial product weight.
Responsibilities
- Pick up product from Staging Area and offload onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks.
- Accurately scan all merchandise utilizing an RF gun when placing product.
- Pick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and offload onto Dock/Bay area.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety programs while operating and not operating material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of WMS.
- Experience using RF units and processes.
- Accurate movement of product through product scanning.
- Ability to drive Industrial Lift Equipment – Order Picker (comfortable with height/elevation).
- Ability to lift/move product.
- Ability to work independently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Must pass lift assessment with a push/pull requirement of 250 lbs.
- Must be able to operate an electric lift, forklift, and tugger.
- Must be able to operate an RF gun.
Preferred Experience
- Experience passing a lift assessment with a push/pull requirement of 250 lbs.
- Experience operating an electric lift, forklift, and tugger.
- Experience operating an RF gun.
Physical Demands
- High degree of physical activity, including significant lifting, standing, and walking.
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle/move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Move objects up to 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Stand or sit continuously to perform job functions.
- Move throughout all areas of the store.
Schedule
Work until completion, typically 8-9 hours per day. Some weekend work required. Minimal travel.
Pay
Starting at $20 an hour plus a $2 shift differential.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position reports directly to the Manager/Assistant Manager of the Utility Team.
Work Environment
Fast-paced work environment in a light industrial setting.
