3rd Shift Entry Level Machine Operator-Twister

About the role

While working safely, the Twister Operator will patrol twister frames, carry out twisting and plying procedures, place specifications on the twisting frames, verify the quality of the product in case of machine failure, inspect for defective bobbins, repack creel yarns into boxes using proper handling methods, maintain the cleanliness of their machine at all times, follow a weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule, complete all paperwork, and maintain records according to ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Patrol twister frames
• Carry out twisting and plying procedures
• Place specifications on twisting frames
• Verify product quality in case of machine failure
• Inspect for defective bobbins
• Repack creel yarns into boxes using proper handling methods
• Maintain machine cleanliness
• Follow weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule
• Complete paperwork and maintain records according to ISO standards
• May be asked to work in Creeling when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0-3 years’ experience
• Able to work in a tight, confined area without damaging yarn
