About the Role
Responsible for responding to general maintenance requests from both guests and associates across all resort locations. Work must be completed in a timely manner while maintaining high levels of guest service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Handle room requests and serve as the principle engineer for preventative maintenance in guest rooms.
- Perform light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Stand, walk, reach, stoop, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Maintain a safety-oriented mindset and wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
- Remain calm and attentive during heavy hotel activity and emergencies.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Trade School education required.
- 1-2 years of related experience required.
- High energy, positive attitude, creativity, and self-starter mentality.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to make decisions, work independently, multi-task, and remain detail-oriented.
- Able to fully develop and implement plans from beginning to end.
- Flexible, highly adaptable, with excellent follow-through and focus.
Schedule
Available to work a varied schedule including full-time hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Chief Engineer.
