3rd Shift Caregiver

About the role

Join our team at Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield as a Caregiver. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents in a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Ensure the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitor for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Follow schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhere to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assist other team members with their duties as necessary
• Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work every other weekend is required
