3rd Shift Advanced Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Inspect and operate specialized logistics equipment such as reach truck, order picker, and turret truck
• Verify part numbers, part locations, and quantities in conjunction with source documents
• Count parts and fill orders
• Conduct first-line quality assessment of parts for damage and defects
• Utilize and inspect heavy equipment including sit-down fork trucks, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists
• Perform material handling and warehousing functions, including order filling, processing, storing, and picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
• Operate automated packaging equipment, shipping, and receiving systems
• Interact with carrier drivers
• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
• Use machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc.
• Operate electronic hardware to receive material into inventory, including iPads
• Perform 5S/housekeeping functions as required

Requirements

• Previous work or volunteer experience with specialized logistics equipment
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor
• Experience with operation of specialized logistics equipment such as reach truck, order picker, and turret truck
• Previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order filling experience
• Experience working with written instructions for a given task such as Standard Work or Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background screening and drug/alcohol testing

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay rate: $18.35/hour (plus 7% of base rate for night shift premium)
• Work location: Corinth, MS
• Shift: 3rd Shift - specific shift hours depend upon placement
