About the role

The Manager, 3rd-party Pricing & Product, oversees day-to-day relationships with third-party suppliers, including hotel providers, rental car companies, and other travel partners. They serve as the primary point of contact for commercial performance discussions and lead contract renewals, rate negotiations, and partner performance reviews. Escalating and resolving service or supply issues is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new third-party partnerships or product categories that could expand the portfolio.
  • Develop and continuously optimize markup and pricing strategy across all third-party product lines to balance conversion, margin, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze booking, conversion, and revenue performance data to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain third-party revenue forecasting models.
  • Report performance against targets to leadership.
  • Partner with Revenue Management peers to ensure third-party pricing strategy aligns with broader ancillary and total revenue management goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology teams to ensure third-party content displays accurately and effectively across web and app booking flows.
  • Work with Ecommerce stakeholders on merchandising placement, user experience, and offer presentation throughout the customer journey, while identifying and prioritizing technical issues or enhancement opportunities that affect third-party product display.
  • Support product development projects as necessary, including partnering with IT and Ecommerce teams to support the technical implementation of third-party products on Allegiant’s website and related digital channels.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in leisure travel products, e-commerce, pricing, or revenue management.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective ability to communicate orally and in writing with co-management and internal and external customers.
  • Team player who supports and promotes their team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and management skills while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strategic, operational, and technical marketing and management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and the associated programs utilized (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and reservations software).
  • Basic math, vocabulary, and reading skills.
  • Excellent judgment in making solid business decisions and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated interest in problem-solving, including the ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable components.

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior experience managing an analytical team.
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience with data modeling and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated interest in problem-solving, including the ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable components.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or using Excel-based pricing models.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build productive partnerships with external vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Practical understanding of e-commerce, website functionality, and technology implementation processes sufficient to partner with IT on third-party product integrations.
  • Strong management skills in task prioritization and upstream and downstream communication.
