About the role

The Charter School is seeking a passionate, student-centered, and highly motivated 3rd Grade Teacher to join their instructional team. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a rigorous, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments and use data to drive instruction.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student engagement and academic success.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, grades, lesson plans, and student documentation.
• Collaborate with school administrators, instructional coaches, special education staff, and fellow teachers to improve student outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic expectations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, parent conferences, and school-sponsored events.
• Integrate instructional technology into daily classroom instruction.
• Supervise students during assigned duties, including arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and field trips.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications include a certified teacher with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Florida Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6), or eligibility for Florida certification.
• Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and classroom management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
