The anticipated vacancies are for 3rd grade teachers in the 2026-2027 school year at Killingly Public Schools.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3rd grade curriculum aligned with state standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective instructional strategies
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- CT certification (if applicable)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- At least two years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of current educational theories and practices
