About the role
Middle Valley Elementary (PK–5) in Hixson, TN, seeks a dedicated Elementary Education teacher to join our vibrant school community. MVES is committed to fostering Opportunity, Excellence, and Connection while supporting teacher growth and student success. We offer personalized professional development, collaborative planning, instructional coaching, STEM and arts programs, and student-selected clubs for grades 3–5. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
- Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K–5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info
Salary scale based on education and experience—starting at $50,000. Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan.
