Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 2. Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
• Experience as an elementary school teacher is preferred.
• ESL endorsement is preferred.

• District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information

• This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement.

Selection Procedure

• All applications will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be recommended for further interview consideration by the building Principal.
• After interviews are completed, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
