3rd Grade Teacher

Daily Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in a self-contained classroom teaching English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Catholic Teachings (Religion)
• Implement instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum aligned with 3rd Grade State Standards and Catholic Catechetical Formation Standards
• Conduct parent conferences to discuss student progress and development
• Utilize technology, such as SMART Board and Google Classroom, to enhance learning experiences

Required Skills

• Experience in small group instruction and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills for parent communication and conferences
• Knowledge of instructional strategies for 3rd Grade State Standards and Catholic Catechetical Formation Standards
• Understanding of State Standards and SEL development of 3rd Grade students
• Background in elementary education or early childhood education

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with 3rd Grade Classroom
• Knowledge of Project Based Learning or Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Expertise in classroom management techniques

Pay and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, medical flexible spending account, sick leave, and holiday pay.
