3D Imaging Specialist/Segmentation Specialist/Design Intern

Location: Portage, MI 49002
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: 1st shift, core hours 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

About the role

The 3D Imaging Specialist will be a highly proficient and quality-focused producer of Pre-Operative Plans, concentrating on individual production efforts to meet team and department targets.

Responsibilities

• Create cases using a proprietary case management system.
• Review CT scans for conformity to Mako Surgical protocol.
• Segment CT scans using specialized software to generate 3D Anatomical Bone Models for robotic surgery.
• Develop Pre-Operative Surgical Plans from Digital Bone Models for robotically assisted total hip and total knee replacement.
• Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Upload completed pre-plans to field-based personnel.
• Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures.
• Follow work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience or equivalent education (Associate’s Degree or above).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Certifications or related experience in Radiology (CT, X-Ray, MRI).
• Certification in Graphic Design or related field.
• College-level anatomy course completion.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Efficient work methods and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
