About the role

This position involves creating and modifying detailed drawings and documents for substation projects, including construction/operating one-lines, general arrangement plans, elevation plans, conduit plans, steel details, foundation details, and bills of materials. You will also collaborate on foundation, ground grid, and battery system calculations to ensure structural and electrical requirements are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience with 1+ years of substation or utility experience
• 1+ years of SolidWorks or Inventor and AutoCAD experience
• General understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil design concepts
• Competency in applying technical concepts, standards, processes, and procedures
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for technical challenges
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, related codes, and standards
