3D Design and CAD Draftsperson

Requirements

• WANTED: 3D Design and CAD Draftsperson
• MRA is looking for a 3D Designer with CAD skills to support the design and production of custom fabrication and buildout of mobile experiential trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D drawings and detailed CAD engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with customers, designers, and engineers to interpret project specifications and requirements.
• Work with production teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable.
• Specify materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet safety requirements.
• Review and revise existing drawings and designs based on feedback and production requirements.
• Prepare and issue final drawings and documentation to production teams.
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Inventor) to create and modify drawings.
• Stay updated with latest software tools and technologies.
• Identify and address potential design or manufacturing issues during the drafting process.
• Propose solutions to improve the manufacturing and efficiency of designs.

Skills and Experience

• Creating a compelling experiential environment.
• Working closely with Fortune 100 clients and design teams.
• Producing detailed 3D models, detailed technical drawings, and blueprints.
• Ensuring designs are accurate and production-ready to industry standards.
• Using 3D and CAD software platforms.
• Understanding construction and custom fabrication.
• Following detailed project schedules.
• Collaborating with production teams.
• Specifying materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintaining accurate records of drawings and related documents.
• Updating drawings to reflect changes in design, materials, or manufacturing.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma (minimum).
• College Diploma or experience (preferred).
• 5 years (preferred, but not necessary) of experience working in CAD software.

Software Proficiency

• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Inventor) to create and modify drawings.
