Responsibilities

Requirements

A specialized diploma from an accredited school of nursing is required. Knowledge of patient-and-family-centered care, cultural awareness, and effective communication is essential. A minimum of one year of previous RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or completion of a BSN program within three years of hire is preferred.
• Knowledge of various assessment tools, diagnostic techniques, and medication administration.
• Ability to document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the State of Pennsylvania.

Skills
