(3A) Tower Technician
About the role
Join Wisper ISP as a full-time Tower Technician! While in this maintenance role, you're part of a collaborative, customer-focused team that values excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Climb towers up to 1,000 feet to install and maintain wireless internet equipment and camera systems.
- Mount internet gear, run data cables to each device, and ensure everything stays connected for our customers.
- Install battery backups and grounding systems to keep things running reliably.
- Follow all training and safety protocols to help keep yourself and your team safe.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Eligibility for inclusion on the company's auto insurance policy
- Completion of required tower training within 90 days of hire
- Maintenance and provision of training certifications per industry standards
- Capability to climb towers up to 1,000 ft.
- Participation in on-call rotation and availability for after-hours and weekend work as needed
- Ability to travel within the network as required by the department

Schedule
This full-time wireless internet maintenance position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including weekends, rotating shifts, and after-hours on-call shifts.
Pay
$18 - $21 per hour
