About the Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge aerospace technologies. Technicians will engage in fault isolation for test failures and verification of repairs while working with engineers to help determine data trends and improvements. Your expertise will directly contribute to supporting our military and commercial aviation communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Collect, document, and report on tests performed.
  • Evaluate test results.
  • Read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits, and follow written work instructions.
  • Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Work independently as well as in a group setting.
  • Lift and carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must pass the Certified Electronics Technician Associate (CETa) exam from Electronics Technicians Association – International (ETA-I).
  • Ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits, and follow written work instructions.
  • Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift, with training on 1st shift for 4+ weeks.

Schedule

  • This is a 2nd shift role.
  • New hire training is typically on 1st shift for 4+ weeks.
