Responsibilities

• Regularly meets with employees to improve communication and build productive relationships.
• Communicates the importance of patient satisfaction, quality of care, and sound financial performance to staff.
• Champions successes and priorities for improving performance in meeting and exceeding patient and customer expectations.
• Works with the Managing Director and Supervisors to promote the divisional focus on service and customer satisfaction.
• Develops programs, services, and initiatives to anticipate future customer needs, build customer loyalty, and generate profitable growth.
• Maintains non-clinical equipment and determines the need for outside contractors.
• Participates in the negotiation of consultant contracts and assists in facility planning decisions.
• Manages the use of overtime to complete routine work assignments and administers disciplines as appropriate.

Compliance

• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory standards and requirements, including JCAHO, Department of Health, funding agencies, FDA, HIPAA, and others.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and ensures they are met and maintained.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED
• 10+ years Operations and maintenance of Physical Plant experience
• Prior supervisor experience with building maintenance preferred
