3 East Health Unit Coordinator - Part Time

About the role

3 East is a 25-bed Acute Care General Medicine unit providing high-quality, patient-centered care for adults with acute respiratory, endocrine, infectious disease, renal, gastrointestinal, and select cardiology conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the medical record in good form.
• Communicates effectively using established systems/protocols.
• Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
• Maintains unit supplies/forms appropriately.
• Assumes responsibility for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: None

Skills

• Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
• Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping.
• May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $28.40 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
