About the role
Second shift (3:00pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday) Forklift Operator / Material Handler position in a fast-paced food-processing warehouse. The work environment includes dry goods storage, cooler, and freezer areas with variable temperatures, wet/slippery floors, and high noise levels.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store, handle, and ship a variety of food products and ingredients.
- Supply the Production Department with required materials and ingredients.
- Maintain neat and clean storage areas.
- Operate in all warehouse areas: shipping, receiving, and storage (dry goods, cooler, freezer).
- Complete accurate paperwork; must be able to write and communicate in English.
- Perform occasional overtime on short notice.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and safety awareness.
Requirements
- One year of stand-up forklift experience.
- Good basic math skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team.
- Lifting up to 80 lbs. maximum; post-employment physical functional test required.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent punctuality and attendance.
Physical demands / Work environment
- Prolonged standing.
- Operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, deep-reach trucks, and hand jacks.
- Constant exposure to variable temperatures (very hot and very cold).
- Wet and slippery floors; proper footwear required.
- High noise levels; company-provided safety hearing plugs must be worn at all times.

Pay
Starting salary of $22.00 per hour with progression to $23.50 per hour after one year. Semi-annual bonuses and eligibility for other bonus programs after one year.
