2nd Shift - Warehouse Merchandise Handler

About the role

Join Jordan’s Furniture as a Merchandise Handler in a physical warehouse job where you’ll unload and put away all types of furniture by hand using a variety of equipment. No prior equipment experience is required—we provide on-the-job training with opportunities for growth.

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Occasional overtime or outdoor work may be required.

Pay

Pay range: $22.00 per hour. We share our pay range because transparency matters, reflecting what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise from trailers, placing items in appropriate staging areas (including large furniture like mattresses, dressers, and sofas)
• Physically load and unload furniture using order pickers and safely navigate machinery through the warehouse
• Perform visual inspections of merchandise
• Maintain established departmental goals
• Conduct rack and sprinkler inspections

Requirements

• Safe work habits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for 8 hours per day
• Capability to lift, pull, push, and maneuver furniture weighing up to 110 pounds
• Reliability and ability to meet daily department goals
• Comfort working at heights of 35 to 50 feet
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
