2nd Shift Warehouse Associate

About the role

Associates help in the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for helping process work orders and internal requisitions and help in ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure that products and raw materials are properly segregated during in-house storage.
• Ensure raw materials related to Production and Assembly are delivered in a timely manner and allocated through the MRP system.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operations of all material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, SQF and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain neat, organized and environmentally safe warehouse and storage locations as outlined in standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for QA & Compliance system to assure food safety & quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ Years of previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of common carrier receiving and shipping procedures
• Ability to drive forklift preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards
• Basic computer skills

Schedule

• Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• Occasional weekends
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule

• Required to stand and walk; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
• Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls
• Required to reach with hands and arms
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay

$18.00/hr
