Operate transfer molding presses in a manufacturing environment, adhering to established procedures, processes, routers, and work instructions. Perform post-bond operations, clean and package parts to specifications, and support team production flow while maintaining accurate production and quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate transfer molding presses in accordance with applicable procedures, processes, routers, and work instructions.
- Perform post-bond operations as required.
- Clean parts to print and package parts per router requirements.
- Assist team members with press cycling, cleaning parts, and packaging activities.
- Perform break relief, material handling, 5S, and other indirect manufacturing functions as needed.
- Maintain relevant production and quality records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor control points for related equipment and support effective production flow.
- Diagnose minor manufacturing issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Arrange the sequence of jobs using good judgment and initiative to achieve effective utilization of time and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and/or verbal procedures, processes, and instructions.
- Ability to complete required paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Ability to maintain relevant production and quality records.
- Demonstrated good judgment and initiative in arranging work sequence to support efficient use of time and equipment.
- Ability to support team members and contribute to production flow in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience, or similar direct labor experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
