2nd Shift Structural Powder Coat Painter Blaster
About the role
The Powder Coat Painter/Blaster at Daifuku is responsible for applying powder coat paint to manufactured parts according to customer and internal quality standards. Responsibilities also include inspecting materials from the fabrication shop, operating coating equipment, and ensuring efficient use of the paint line.
Responsibilities
- Coat manufactured parts consistent with powder coat paint to customer and internal quality requirements
- Inspecting material from fabrication shop
- Operating all coating equipment including manual spray guns, hopper's, and booth collection systems
- Using the paint line efficiently with minimal stoppages and gaps
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Knowledge of powder paint characteristics and application, the operation and repair of painting equipment, and material preparation
- Quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Craning, forklift, and Big Joe operation experience preferred but not required

Full Time | 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 200pm - 1030pm Saturdays
