Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company compliance standards.
  • Collects microbiological and product samples for testing and evaluation.
  • Performs quality checks against specifications.
  • Affixes to audits of processes, GMPs, food safety, and customer audits.
  • Investigates quality and food safety issues.
  • Records findings and assists with troubleshooting.
  • Applies holds to nonconforming products and materials.
  • Supports product improvement projects.
  • Assists with data verification and quality metrics reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Knowledge of workplace safety rules
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Good math skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Firm problem-solving, organization, time-management, and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding and following directions to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
