The Quality Assurance Lead reports to the Quality Supervisor and is an important member of the operations team. By prioritizing food safety in the warehouse, your expertise ensures that our customers continue to receive the high-quality, delicious, and affordable food they love. The Quality Assurance Lead performs final quality checks on all outbound boxes.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations for a food-based facility.
- Performs final QA Inspections on outbound customer orders including missing, damaged, or improperly packed items.
- Determines and documents the accuracy of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments.
- Identifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the QC or Operations Supervisor.
- Uses heatmap data to identify and address packing errors upstream in the production line.
- Determines and documents the accuracy of all picking errors in the warehouse, including missing, damaged, and out-of-stock items.
- Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments.
- Applies strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to train new team members according to company processes.
- Serves as backup to QC Supervisor and QC Lead, represents the FC in times of QC Supervisor's absence.
What you have
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
- Strong verbal communications skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
- Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice for you to have
