2nd Shift QA Technician I

About the role

Responsible for performing quality assurance tasks to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases to identify defects and bugs in software products.
• Document issues found during testing and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and designers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through feedback and suggestions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in QA or related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in using automation testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Skills

• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Basic knowledge of database management systems (DBMS).
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
