Responsibilities

  • Schedules all work for the shift, ensuring efficient operations; prioritizes work to meet SLAs
  • Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements
  • Analyzes daily scheduling reports to determine specific production work flow and predict daily production levels
  • Schedules work to optimize changeover, labor and production equipment usage
  • Provides data and analysis to assist shift supervisor in resource planning
  • Immediately notifies shift supervisor of issues impacting production workflow
  • Reports daily production needs and completions
  • Participates in providing direction and retraining where needed to insure efficient operations
  • Interacts with production management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies, requests for data/information, and customer issues
  • Maintains awareness of production systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure continuous operation

Requirements

  • Bilingual
  • Must obtain IRS/Treasury Security Clearance
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Manufacturing process; LEAN manufacturing
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to organize and multi-task job responsibilities effectively
  • Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service within all dimensions of the job duties on a consistent basis
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge to apply to new situations

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; Associates Degree in Logistics
  • 5 years experience in manufacturing setting required
  • No supervision required
  • No certifications required

Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources
