Job Duties of the Production
- Complete duties for the Glass Tempering, Glass Cutting, Mezzanine, Line Assembly, Line Packing, & Line Closer areas.
- Move and rack glass lites, seam glass, load products to be tempered & finished.
- Bend channels into a spacer that separates the glass.
- Apply butyl to channel, fill channel with desiccant, cut stock sizes of channel, cut internal grilles and bars, and operate machines that punch holes in channel.
- Operate the cutting table and break out individual pieces of glass (lites) and slot them in racks.
- Set up and organize racks according to the production schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for 8-12hr shift
Qualifications
- Ability to read a ruler/measurement device
- 6m of experience at a single employer in past 2 years
